Desert Lion International has established sales outlets in all the cocoa growing areas in Ghana for the supply of COCOBOD approved insecticides, fungicides, spraying machines, pruners and personal protective equipment (PPE). The company has also established an excellent working relationship with farmers all over the West African sub-region where cocoa and oil palm are grown. Desert Lion International is in a unique collaboration with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, a leading science institution in the world, to assemble spraying machines and transfer technology to many young Ghanaians venturing into agriculture in general and cocoa industry in particular. The objective is to contribute to reducing rural poverty through maximizing the output of cocoa farms by applying COCOBOD approved inputs to improve and sustain cocoa yields and also provide jobs for the youth to contribute to reducing unemployment.
Desert Lion International Ltd is a member of Desert lion International Group. The company in collaboration with KNUST has established an ultra-modern assembling plant with the capacity to assemble 10,000 spraying machines and other products per month. Currently, it has supplied over 7500 units of its sprayers and other products to the farmers in the major cocoa growing areas in Ghana and West Africa. The Company offers after-sales support and has sufficient spare parts to support its operations. Offers backstopping for private mass spraying of cocoa in Ghana.
